SO GUYS IN THE FATAL FRAME VIRUS, GUESS WHAT STARTS FRIDAY? : DDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD
So I'm gonna run over the basic guidelines, now that I have my morning coffee.
So the virus starts Friday correct? Bold is for the ghost fighting senpai only.
This is the tentative schedule:
26th-27th: OH SHIT OH MY GOD THERE'S DEAD PEOPLE EVERYWHERE.
28th-31st: Ghost Fighting Senpai are going to try and save everyone and fail miserably
31st: Demon Tag and Blinding Rituals, as well as Rope Sacrifice performed on Minako, Fuu and Kaito. Escape from Himuro Mansion.
30th-whenever this thing ends, i forgot--the rest of you are going into Himuro Mansion! What does that entail?
Inside Himuro Mansion, you will never see daylight. That is simply because Kirie will not let you see the sun. At the end of every night, you are going to be trapped in a deadly game of tag with the Rope Maiden (From 4:00 on). The real one. Not Kaito. You will not be able to escape. I don't care if you're fucking Harry Houdini. You are trapped with Kirie and her evil spirit buddies before the sun comes up and the next thing you know, it's the next night.
Once Kirie touches you, when you wake up the next night, after dreaming of a horrific death as shown in that video, you will notice a few strange things. If you were with someone? You're not anymore. You're also in a totally different room. Oh and those nice pretty wrists/ankles/neck you had? One of them has a rope burn engraved into it. The permanence of these scars is up to the player.
If you refer back to the video, this video, you will see the basic mechanics of how to attack ghosts. Some basic rules are that you can't touch them, but they can touch you, and the only way to harm them is to take pictures. Yeah. Scariest survival horror game ever. You've all been somehow entrusted with a Camera Obscura. Whether you found it next to your pillow, or bought it at an antique store before coming, or you tripped on it as you came in the goddamn door, you have a Camera Obscura. And each touch from a ghost drains your very life energy. Like the feed on you or some shit. If you pass out in the mansion during the night and Kirie isn't the one passing you out, you are going to die. There are some things that can help you get better. Herbal Medicines and Sacred Water are scattered around the mansion, as well as these things called Stone Mirrors which can somehow not only stop someone from killing you but completely refill your HP after a death blow. They're nice, but you can only carry one at a time.
The mansion is very large, with a lot of rooms. I am not going to list the rooms or you will die of boredom before the virus can even start. Instead have a wiki.
There are some neato ghosts you guys are going to get to fight, too. There's this lady with a broken neck who attacks you like she's doing the limbo backward. And this floating woman's head which if I remember correctly just slams into you and takes a huge fucking chunk of your HP or that could be the floating head from The Tormented... And this bastard. Who goes after little children and can grab you from wells and clocks and shit and from like half a fucking mile away and is a fucking bastard and I hate fighting him. And Kirie who I have permission to NPC, so if you need her, IM me or PM me or Plurk me or some shit.
Oh, and guys? Don't die.
Outside the Mansion
Life's a little easier when you're not in Himuro Mansion. Because we're taking the rules from Fatal Frame 3 and applying them to your lives. Basically, you see ghosts everywhere.
Everywhere.
Some of them will try to help you, some of them will ask for your help, some of them will stare at you from street corners, some of them will loom over your bed at night and some of them will try to fucking kill you. The ghosts from the mansion may appear out side of it for you guys because this is DDD and not the real Fatal Frame world. Luckily, you all have pretty cameras too :>
Use them. The mechanics are the same as listed above.
You won't see the ghosts all the time. And no one else will see them. At times your vision will suddenly change, blur, distort, and then there will be dozens of moaning, destroyed bodies, all the same as the moment of their deaths, gunshot wounds, missing limbs, etc etc, dispersed within the crowd. Blink and they're gone.
