Yeah, I think over time Stein could get to feel that Brian isn't bad after all. He has a lot of contempt for Adachi, but he also has a lot of sympathy for people who are sociopaths and trying to get along in the world.

I actually model a LOT of Stein's mental space from Dexter, because like Dexter, he is a sociopath, who had good role models, and has learned strategies to cope with being on the good side without becoming a monster. Dexter kills only bad people, and so does Stein. Stein experiments on people, but he doesn't do lasting damage, and he confines it to people who are, in a sense, consenting, if he can. Stein only really lets himself go when he's fighting an enemy of his school, and when he does he's completely vicious. And the rest of the time he pretends to be as normal as he can.

So I think that they'll continue to get along, eventually. XD; Once Stein realizes that Brian is like him, and doing his best, he'll give him a pass.
