TFLN Virus
Hey guys, remember that TFLN virus starts Tomorrow, although ICly all the fun goes on tonight.
I've noticed that a lot of you have been putting up future-dated TFLN RLs, so this is just a reminder that the point of this virus isn't "Drunk Event" (if the idea of a Drunk Event is popular, feel free to suggest it and get it scheduled for another time! I know I for one would be up for it), it's Texts From Last Night virus. The point is supposed to be characters piecing together some vague idea of what happens tonight, from small amounts of info gleaned from remnants etc. Half the fun will be confusion and wrong conclusions, that sort of thing.
So by all means, RL things out if you want, that's fine! But remember that the whole scene shouldn't really make it back to them the next morning, if you get my meaning. The most embarrassing part, or the most easily misinterpreted part, those sort of things are the only ones that should stick around. We'd almost discourage you from RLing, if only because the temptation is to make that work 'worth it'.
Those of you taking advantage of Lylith's excellent Eris-camera, the same restrictions apply - please don't have her record a whole scene with your characters, just a couple of pictures or a few minutes of video at most?
At any rate, this has been your PSA about why we mods didn't make one consolidatory RL in the events comm. Remember, the plotting post is still available, the OOC plotting is what makes this virus far more than RLs should! in b4 A Picture Tells A Thousand Words (And Most Of Them Mistaken).
