Hiiii! This is Yoshino-mun with her second character! All of ya'll, say hello to Ran Fan of the Hagane no Renkinjutsushi (Fullmetal Alchemist) fandom!

For those of ya'll who've only seen the anime, Ran Fan is a manga-only character. :3 And she could very possibly be spoilertastic. Possibly. That's a warning. xD

Another thing ... if she takes a while to respond to you, it's because I feel compelled to write as her only with my right hand. Those of you who know the manga know the reason behind this. x3;

Yeah! :D Stuff!

This is going to be my only, and my final word on this. Feel free to argue about it, but that's what my idea of a system is (and if Larxene agrees with it you will have to deal with it). The stigma 'virus' has a lack of spontaneity with it, however it differs from 'Events'. Allow me to educate you:

Virus: Your character gets turned into a child, your character sings, your character starts laying golden eggs. You can have random individual one (see: Demyx and the plushie virus) where if one character gets affected and only a handful get infected as well. If you don't post it on the OOC board at least give a mod a heads up before it happens so that we know wtf is going on. For some odd reason, some of you have been taking for granted our modlyness. Shiro may be making a post tomorrow regarding this.

We ask that if you are planning a COMMUNITY WIDE VIRUS (see: valentines day and/or body switch) that you space them out by AT LEAST THREE WEEKS. It's getting a little ridiculous that we have to have a calendar, but if we have to make one (I'll set one up with Google Calendar), then so be it- community wide viruses will have to be scheduled. In a community this big, people have ideas and it is only FAIR that everyone gets a chance to have theirs implemented. From what I heard, there was going to be a DDD News Community, please someone get that set up so that it can be a backdated post WHICH MONTH THESE VIRUSES ARE GOING TO TAKE PLACE. If you have to post it here for the virus, then you have to plan it.

With these viruses you must include what it is about completely. That means, what's the premise and what is going to happen to characters that are affected. So there are no misunderstandings.

Events: Events are parties and such. We don't get enough of those, so I don't see why we have to space them out by three weeks. But, as a warning know what you're doing when it comes to these know what is going on within the community at that time. Please don't complain that your event was a failure due to other plot devices.

Alright? Now for the list of upcoming 'viruses' or 'events'. We're going to try and prioritize them regarding how long it has been discussed. I know for a fact that the Alignment virus and the Genderswap virus has been discussed for more than a month now.

I think the purpose of my post is mostly: "HI. WE'RE THE MODS. THINGS WORK EASIER IF YOU LISTEN TO US AND TELL US WHAT THE HELL YOU'RE UP TO."

Seriously. I am totally clueless on 90% of planned events. While I realise this may be due to occasional breakdown in mod communication, it would be nice if we could have more posts in which you ask us for permission. Even if it's okayed by another mod, this lets ALL of the mods know what you're doing. 'Kay? Because this Fairy Tale Virus? Where the hell'd that one come from? Stuff seems to be going nuts everywhere, at the displacement of other people's events and so on. NOT COOL, GUYS.

SO. If you want to do an event-virus-thingamajig, POST TO OOC ASKING, PLEASE. This way everyone can check, and say if they've already had something planned similar, and all the mods get to know what's happening! ♥

OKAY, NEXT ISSUE. No more announcements on "I'm apping so-and-so; I'm reserving so-and-so." THESE ARE NOT ANNOUNCEMENT-WORTHY ISSUES. Just because you have apped someone/reserved someone, does not mean you are guaranteed to get it. IN FACT, THE NEXT ONE OF THESE I SEE, I WILL BE INCLINED TO REJECT THE APP ON GROUNDS OF ARROGANCE. (Btw, Zidane-mun, sorry if this seems like a psychotic u-turn. I don't mean you in particular, it's just some people are assuming they're going to get the characters they app for.)

Aaaaand lastly, if you're having EPIC. CHARACTER. RELATIONSHIP. DRAMA. it does not need to be brought to the attention of the whole OOC comm. If it's just between you guys, then just get on with it, and people will nosy if they want. TRAINWRECK SYNDROME DICTATES PEOPLE WILL TAKE A LOOK, 'KAY? It's not some kind of event we all have to know about. We can see the posts on our friends lists. ♥

IN CONCLUSION/SUMMARY: YOU HAVE MODS. USE THEM AND RESPECT THEM. This way the game goes more smoothly~♥

EDIT: Also, just double-checking you all know the rules on "omniscient" characters, i.e., those that supposedly know everything. Even if your character should know everything about everyone, please check with the other player before godmodding them. This includes the characters with amazing hacking skills. If the post says locked, but does NOT say hackable, then paws off. I'll say it again, just because your character godmods in their everyday life, does not mean it's okay for you to do it. Just a quick "is it okay if I mention this to so-and-so" is all that's needed, either in chat or as a quick OOC note at the bottom. THANK YOU. ♥

Okay, I feel kinda responsible for the whole drama concerning the fairy tale virus thing, so I thought it best to just drop it and be done with it. I deleted my post about the casting call, so you know. Seems it's just causing too much angst and headaches and it's just not worth it. I apologize to the mods and everyone involved for all of this. I've already read over all latest mod posts and I'll do my best not to cause any more trouble in the future.

Still some characters seem interested in dropping by Johto and figuring out what happened. I CAN host such an expedition if people really want this. I dunno if that would count as an "Event" though?
