Hi everyone!

I'm sorry to do this, but I'm gonna drop all of my characters and quit the RP. ♥ There are some absolutely fantastic people here, and I love all of you; but things here have changed so much, and something that happened was more or less the final straw. ♥ Dietrich, Astharoshe & Ion from Trinity Blood, Urahara from Bleach, Sora Naegino from Kaleido Star and Seto Kaiba from Yuugiou are all dropped.

I've had a lot of fun while I've been here, and as I said, I've met some fantastic people. I'll miss hanging out in chat with you guys. XD But as fun as it's been, certain things have been causing more harm than good to me personally, and well...yeah. ♥ Here's my personal journal, if those of you who I haven't already friended would like to add me, I'd love to add you back!

Best of luck to all of you, and hopefully everything gets straightened out. I don't think me leaving is gonna make that much of a difference anyway, so. :D I've talked to a few people about this, and I've been pushed to my personal limit, so. :D;

I hate to be the squeaky wheel here, I really do.

But if you guys ever disagree with something that's going on? Please feel free to speak up. Not to argue about it or start drama, but just to let your voice be heard. This is a community, and every single one of us has the right to be considered.

I'm only saying this because... it just seems like I'm the only one to ever disagree with things, when I'm pretty sure some of you guys feel the same way I do, but for one reason or another (dont want to start drama, are afraid of what people will think of your opinion, intimidation by certain groups in the community, not wanting to bother anyone by saying anything) you dont. Honestly, I'm tired of it being me vs the mob every single time something comes up.

Disagreeing with something doesnt mean it's necessarily right or wrong, nor does it mean that we have to start an argument, it just means that maybe there are things people havent taken into consideration. I dont want anyone out there to feel afraid to speak their mind but secretly hold resentment over a decision that was made, or feel uncomfortable with the way things are handled. It doesnt even have to be a big issue. But if you think something should've been done a certain way, it's okay to say so respectfully. Nobody gets hurt. You just might make things better for everyone the next time around.

I love DDD and I want this place to continue being awesome. Which means everyone has to let everyone else know what it's going to take to keep it awesome. If you have a suggestion, bring it up. It doesnt matter if you're new or if you've been here forever, or if you're popular or not, everyone has something important to contribute to the community.

...I guess that's all I wanted to say. Welcome to all of our new members, and I really hope DDD ends up being the totally awesome place you've all heard it is! And I want to thank the mods for all of their hard work here, because despite the fact that I'm the first to speak up and complain about things (I'm terrible about playing the devil's advocate), I really think they're some of the best mods around and really appreciate all that they've done to keep this community rolling!

Alright. Forget all this nonsense of me quitting being a mod because I find myself going "Wow, this is a little much over an argument that I'm not even upset at anymore".

Chat Consensus: The reason why we use chat consensus is because sometimes the mods need to get a quick vote. Or we could do this the dictator way and we can make the decision for you. Some of the players choose to have a constant away message and I can't reach them. I for one cannot read internet minds and it would really be appreciated. Note to all mods: from no on we will do a mod post on the OOC comm as well as a chat consensus. This mod post on the OOC comm will be up for at least a day asking for ideas. No more, no less. If you're late, we're sorry- but deal with it. Don't bitch that you're not included if you don't try to be. We'll have a compromise. Our biggest flaw is that we jump to conclusions and have knee-jerk reactions and don't think things through. Not just the players, but the mods as well. As a mod, I apologize on their and my behalf. But we ask that as players you respect our decision and not hope it blows up in our faces because that's just rude and it hurts people.

Applications: Riku mod is excellent in this area, he will be looking for notes, and length as he's specified. Don't go against his word and we as mods have the right to overturn an application.

Also. Looking at the dramaposts, I think I'd better make an official mod decree.

Chat is not mandatory, nor are you going to be shunned or ignored if you stay out of it. Yes, we tend to use it when we need quick community input, but what do you expect? Almost everyone is in there at some point or another, making it convenient.

Setine's OOC post thing stands, although I'm now officially extending the time to at least two days. That way you can't bitch if you weren't in chat, because you'll have input anyway. I don't know why we didn't do that sooner.

Question: Should the use of chat for community decisions be stopped entirely? (That is, the making of new rules, confirming of event times, things that everyone would want to know and be part of the deciding of. Ideas and plots can still be in there.)

Quite frankly, I'd just decree it OOC Posts Only myself- not only to stop the drama, but so I actually know what's going on WHEN things happen!- but since people tend to spaz if we mods declare things without discussion...

If I was threading with you, or whatever, I'm really sorry, but I'm kind of not-so-pumped on even keeping my other characters, right now, and these three are barely ever active. So, again, sorry. Things may change when everything cools down, but until then, yeah.
