Well, it's been a while since we did the relationship meme (thank you Luke for bringing this up in chat ^_^), and to keep it from shoving the virus posts even further back along our f-lists, it wouldn't hurt to keep it on the ooc comm and see how it works out, am I right?

Y'know how the whole Hakuna Makata virus started because of that secret that an anon posted? I kind of need to push Lady Eboshi's canon forward (so she can finally go on that god hunt and almost destroy her world by killing the Forest Spirit) and I also remembered that I was going to have Eboshi send that secret in before Tophie volunteered to create a fake secret for it.

What does this have to do with anything?

My idea is this: After the virus is over, Eboshi will stand up and take blame for the secret. (Even if she didn't do it, she's that kind of person to take credit or blame for something.) Then willl turn that post into basically a call for action, to help on said god hunt and that after the Forest Spirit is dead that people should go after the other gods because of the havoc they've done. (Seeing as the Forest Spirit's death wrecks havoc and Eboshi is crippled as result, obviously this won't happen.)

Um. Yeah.

It's just an idea and I don't know if anyone will agree/want to go through with it or if I'll get a mod's approval but I'd love feedback and ideas.

Edit: Just in case if you were confused, Eboshi would take blame for the secret, not that she made it. Since, y'know, before she'd never have heard of Jesus. (But we can say she looked him up on Wikipedia, since she has access to the internet.)

A thousand of posts ago, me and Haruhi-mun were having a nice, out of character chat that lead to a virus idea.

WELCOME TO DDD'S HOST CLUB~!!!

Ok, here's the main idea. Your character becomes a host, or the client, or even a manager. But let me explain what I would like to do with all of this...

For those of you who know Ouran Host Club, YOU CAN SKIP THIS~

There's a very interesting manga/anime known as Ouran Host Club, which consists of a few boys who start a club at school. Said club's goal is to make women happy. So, the extremely attractive stereotypical boys will spend time with girls, chatting and having some tea, giving the girls hopes of being loved by these gods of SEXY. [Edit] - Like the godly Tamaki-mun said on a comment, this manga/anime is a mockery of clichés found in girly stories. So if you think of anything cliché-lulzy, please, go for it! 8D

Now, important stereotypes ahoy~!! I'll use the Ouran characters as the easy example. Ouran-muns, feel free to shoot me down if I'm unfair towards your character~

[Tamaki] - The king. He's the most popular host of the group (let's ignore the plot here, mmmk?), he's perfect. Charming, sensitive and gorgeous. Whenever he speaks, sparkles and rose filled backgrounds appear. There are a lot of roses around him. Like, a lot. I can't think of him without roses. Wouldn't it be great, if your macho man character suddenly wore a satin suit and talked while dramatically holding a rose? SOUNDS AWESOME TO ME~

[Kyouya] - The queen. The intellectual type. He has glasses, therefore he's smart. He's also pretty ironic with his jokes, and he might seem cold at first. Sexy cold, of course. Because that's what all smart people are like. If your character fits the description, then he can handle the contability of the club's expenses while seducing some ladies.

[Kaoru and Hikaru] - The twins. Everyone loves twins, especially highly attractive ones. They complete each others sentences, they have a deep sibling bond (yaoi hints will make the fangirls go craaazzyyy~) and they may, or may not, joke around. Even though the twins may seek individuality, in this club it's their team work that counts. If your character has a twin, don't think twice!

[Honey] - Cute item! Like the name suggests, the cutest character of the group~! He looks younger than he is (or really is young... o_o; ), he likes sweets and other cute stuff. He makes the girls go all D'AAAWWWW~ If your character is too young or cute to be a SMEXY MAN, then this is the perfect choice! Just hold a teddy bear, make puppy eyes, and the fangirls will never leave you alone~

[Takashi] - The silent, sturdy type. A man of few words, probably due to shyness, but who'll put his life on the line to save the damsel in distress. When paired with the Cute type host, it makes a great combination. If your character is too quiet but can still kick ass, this is the best choice!

[Haruhi] - The normal type. Yup, it exists. But of course, in the show the normal type couldn't be that normal, now could it? So this "normal guy" is actually a girl. But we can ignore that! If your character doesn't fit any of the above, let it be normal and ordinary~! As long as he's a nice guy, the girls will probably like him! ...Really!

[The manager] - You don't want your character to seduce other girls, but still want to be part of the crazy? Why not becoming the manager of your fandom's host club? You can create new and better stereotypes, help your hosts out, and fangirl with all the other girls as well! You don't have to be a girl, just incredibly bossy.

[THE STAR TYPE] - Awesome at sports? Too loud and stupid for any of the stereotypes above? Then think no more, and become a STAR host! You're great at what you do, and at getting everyone's attention, and the girls love that! Use your popularity in your favor and the fangirls will never leave you alone~  Yes Black Star, I made this JUST FOR YOU.

[THE ARTIST TYPE] - Usually quiet, shy characters who aren't fit enough to be the [Takashi/Mori-sempai] type. They should be good at one type of art, like drawing, drama... and are, therefore, very sensitive. The rest is up to you~

There you go, the possible stereotypes! There could be others, of course, or no stereotype at all, depending on the mun. If you want your character to remain IC as a host, it's fine by me. But following a stereotype might be funnier... xDDD
Also, this virus isn't just about seducing women. The affected characters could act this way towards everyone around them. If your character becomes "The King" type, you might consider having him want to start a host club, but I don't see this as necessary...


COMMENTS ON THIS AND SUGGESTIONS, PLEASE. I would really LOVE to rp as a host club member, but without having to control a character from any show like that. And I really think that, depending on the character, this could create a lot of lulz.
