Chances are I MIGHT be able to borrow a monitor from my dad's office and plug that in temporarily, but that's a sliiiim chance. Until then...

It's that time again, folks! We all like to know what we can do better or to be reassured we're doing just fine so it's time for....

HOW'S MY DRIVING?

This time, we’re going to do something a little different. I’ve gotten multiple complaints that our HMD is very sugar-coated, and while there’s nothing wrong with that, there is a point where you realize no one is giving proper concrit. This time, we’re going to do something along the lines of “positive, negative.” You respond with the characters you play (and preferably their journals) and commenters reply with what they like that you’re doing and something you can improve on. One (or more) positive things and one (or more) potential improvement!

Commenters: Keep this civil people. Anon is completely okay, but don't abuse it. It's fine to shield yourself to raise a concern but please do it tactfully. If it's clearly a wank-inducing comment, I will delete it with no questions asked.

That being said, this is not mandatory. It's entirely up to you to join in. If you'd rather not know, then by all means, feel free just to participate in only commenting on others or not at all! We aren't here to make you feel pressured or anything like that-- but! if someone raises a concern, please take it with a grain of salt. One concern does not reflect the thoughts of many, so don't freak out! This time around we are encouraging constructive criticism. That means, if you want to tell them you love their character, say WHY. HOW are they doing it right? And even if they're doing it right, how could they improve? Just remember your manners.

Sorry for not being around, but I caught a really bad stomach virus on Friday night and I've been... feeling like crap for the last two days. X_x; Won't be actively tagging until I can stay at the keyboard long enough not to puke, heh. I'm hopping over to the Hiatus post after this...

But if anyone needs any of my characters for a thread - Gaara is still in the Rescue Hinata plot, just in case the muns involved are wondering - please PM me. I'll still post when I'm needed. I will check my e-mail whenever I can muster up the energy to get on the computer.

Alright, so the rl issues are salvageable. I will have limited access for a week-ish, probably, though. SO SEMI-HIATUS FOR...probably about a week. Give or take.

SO HERE'S WHAT I'M HERE FOR. Mayaplot plannings. Now, I'm still not entirely sure who is signed up and who isn't. If you want to be part of the plot, please say below with what character(s) and which part. Remember, if you want to be part of Part 1, I'm going to need a script. Nothing long or anything, and you can feel free to use somebody else to help you write the other part, but.

Here's a short and random example of a possible script, using, let's say 'Bill' and 'Maria'.

Now it can be as long or as short, as crack or as srs bizness, as happy or as sad as you want/need it to be. Maya can channel anybody who's dead, and will take on their physical appearance to some extent.

As you can see, Mia isn't exactly the same, but her face and her...body...are easily recognisable. This is the sort of similarity your character can expect to see. And yes, Maya can channel men. It's...best not to ask.

If you're signing up for the second part, I won't need a script, but I will need:

~Who is going to be ghosted?
~A weakness of your character they can play on
~Anything else you think I'll need to know.
~Anything specific you want them to say

To use the example above, say 'Bill' was then going to be a part of Part 2. The information would read as follows.
~Fred Plot-D'vice
~They were rivals back in university. Bill thinks Fred slept with his late wife, Maria Examplar, because they were a couple before Bill showed up.
~Fred was a well-known TV presenter and a famous womanizer.
~Mention that Maria lied in her channeling and she was just stringing him along, plz?

Mayaplot will start Monday 28th, with a post to the main comm. RLs will continue over the week, until Friday 1st, when Part 2 will happen. RLs (and comments to the post) can be backdated or futuredated to your convenience, because DDD has no timeline. ♥ Please have your RL scripts to me by the time the RL starts, or else I can't do anything. XD;

REMEMBER: THE CHARACTERS BEING CHANNELED DO NOT HAVE TO EXIST IN CANON. If you want your character's mother-who-was-never-shown/ex-partner-who-died-before-the-show-started/etc, this is your chance. :3

EDIT: Right, I knew there was something I forgot. Channeling Demyx. Tanz has said that if the mods say it's alright, she'll do a channel'd!thread. And since Maya would be channeling someone who's soul is only just on the bounds of channeling ability, that'd be what would send her over the edge. So that'd be the last RL, and wouldn't require a script.

Also, I forgot to mention - channeled characters can move and everything, although if violence breaks out then Maya will dismiss the spirit. They might get a punch or two in, but nothing serious should happen. ♥
