Bella here with another muse. Sabriel from the Old Kingdom series by Garth Nix. Gotta love this girl.

For those of you who don't know her, Sabriel is a necromancer. Meaning she has the power to return spirits to bodies. Generally, necromancers are Free Magic people and use their abilities to do bad things. Sabriel is a good necromancer, though. In fact, she's Abhorsen for the entire kingdom. Her job is to lay the dead to rest when they've risen again or another necromancer has called them up.

But really.... you shouldn't ask her to raise any dead. One, they only come back normal if they died recently. And two, her entire job is to send them. As her father will tell her later in her canon, Everyone and everything has a time to die.

I will be making permissions posts for Dr. Crane soon, as he is an adept psychologist and he is not afraid to probe into areas he feels are weak-- complexes, fears, etc. I will only have him express as far as you want him to reveal (and it can be little by little, of course) all I ask is that you do not reveal who he is IC; in locks, your characters can know him but I do not want him to be fourth walled as a villain.
