EVENT/VIRUS CALENDAR UPDATED

THE JURASSIC PARK EVENT STARTS TOMORROW. 8D There are still a few people looking for groups, so if you've got room in yours and you wouldn't mind taking on anyone else, please look around over here and in the original sign up post, which is linked in that one.

There were also some good questions raised in the comments of that post, so here's a bit more explanation. XD

Weapons - Those of you with fighters can decide whether or not you want your character to have their weapon. Keep in mind when and where they're being brought from--if they're randomly waking up in Jurassic Park, they're probably not going to have their gun on them unless they sleep with it strapped to their hip. XD When choosing, you might also want to consider how easily they'd be able to handle the dinosaurs with and without the weapon. It may not be much fun if the dinos get annihilated too quickly.

Death - In the spirit of the Jurassic Park movies, deaths will happen but we plan for anything graphic to happen "off-screen". Characters who die will experience some initial pain and then suddenly return to their own worlds. Maiming and/or mauling is also a possibility, but we won't be doing anything drastic without a player's permission.

Posting - While the power is out on the island, there will be no signals for cell phones or other mobile devices, so all posting will happen in RL/third person logs, like in the Oregon Trail virus.


Again, Computer-tan won't start participating until late tomorrow afternoon. You guys can get your posts up in dddinos and get the initial WHERE THE HELL ARE WE stuff over with, we just won't start leading you places until after we're done with work and stuff. XD
