Just a quick note to let everyone know that I, Ali, am finally back with Megara. I missed you guys. I missed other guys. I missed everyone ever, everywhere, even in games I am not in.

Greetings! My name is Kris, I'm new here, and so is James T. Kirk. As in, the one and only Shatner. Some background: I've been roleplaying for a long time, but what got me into LJ RP was the Trek kinkmeme last year. I started playing TOS!Kirk on there, discovering porn about himself and even writing a little. That eventually spun into its own RP, and I made a kinkmeme for it and all that, so DDD seems right up my ally!

Jim is pretty easy-going and friendly, when it doesn't interfere with his duty. (Here's his app, if anyone's interested.) And I'm pretty much open to anything happening to him, or being told to him--his canon is full of crack and I am amused by his latent narcissism so fourth-wall(-and-brain-) breaking is generally fine. Since there's a reboot!Sulu already I'm sure it'll happen. I was thinking, too, about the nature of this game (them being all in their own universes) and how maybe it makes sense to bring him in near the beginning of canon, so I can use episodes as background for the other things going on--is that a typical tactic around here? (I understand about not bringing a lot of canon into the game, or using non-player characters, I just mean as spice for his entries and stuff.)

I look forward to playing with you all very much! Hopefully I'll get the hang of it soon. I should tell you all that I will be off or very spotty next week, as I am on vacation, and that I am seldom on AIM because it just isn't my style/doesn't fit into my schedule but I'm readily available via email and PM and can hop on AIM at request.

And let me know if you have any questions/comments/suggestions! I'm trying to figure out a first IC post as we type...
