ACTIVITY CHECK

Activity check will be going on from today through Sunday, July 7th.

Please reply to this post with the following information and links to 20 comments, with a minimum of 2 threads with different characters and a maximum of one post from your character, for each of your characters:

Comments must be from sometime within the months of May and June. Any comments where there is a discrepancy over the time stamp because of timezones (e.g. June 30th vs July 1st) will not count. For the purposes of AC, the following are designated single threads: a post by your character and all threads on it, all threads started by your character commenting to another character's post (or the comments therein), a log or event post "top comment" started by your character, any event post thread in which your character responds to another's "top comment," a log with another character.


Exemptions

If you are on hiatus, you are exempt from activity check. Your hiatus must be listed here or it is not official. If you have a question over this, please contact a mod. We will often accept an unofficial hiatus announcement from the OOC community, but we will not dig through the comm to find the links for you.

If your character was approved during the month of June, then that character is also exempt from activity check.

Volunteers

THANK YOU DRAMADRAMADUCK VOLUNTEERS! \o/ This is where you guys get to help in the activity check process! We just need volunteers to go through this post to verify that people have linked the necessary amount of comments from the right time period, and reply to the original comment with "activity verified for" and the names of the characters that have been checked. Feel free to ping any of the mods with questions!

Activity Check Process

Here's what happens after Activity Check is over! On the 8th we will go through and gather the information from the check. No new links will be accepted from this point on, but the 8th and 9th will be used to make sure there weren't any errors. On the 10th, we'll post a list of the characters to be purged. Those characters will be available for reserve and application immediately - however, those applications will not be processed until after the 15th. This is so everybody has a fair chance to apply, and so the original player has time to reclaim their character if a mistake was made.

COMMUNITY-RUN EVENTS:

July 5th-8th
First we've got an event that will go over the course of 4 days and 2 logs! DDD IS GOING TO ATLANTIS'S AQUAVENTURE IN THE BAHAMAS. It'll be broken down into two logs for simplicity's sake because there is a lot to do. You can preview the site here, and in the log there'll be descriptions of various activities to do. They will be described on the event logs in case you don't want to go looking for everything, don't worry.

The two logs will break up activities into separate posts. The first log (day 1-2) will be for actual in-waterpark events and hotel time, then the second log (day 3-4) will include pools, a water war, and wildlife adventures! Spacing it out like this will give everyone a bit more time to get their threads going before the next log pops up! It also makes it less messy since, as I said, lots of stuff to do.

Also, we'll have randomized hotel trios~! So three people per hotel room. You don't have to randomize, but it'll be open the whole time until the event. Click here to get put in the random drawing for hotel mates!

July 28-30
The winning virus! That would be Simon Says. Each character will get paired up with a partner and one half of that pair has complete control over the other. Anything Character A says Character B has to do, they have to do it. Resistance can happen, but is ultimately futile. (Make sure to communicate OOCly with your character's partner's mun for questionable things!) Character A will start getting severely sick, mentally or physically, if they're away from Character B though so be careful not to scare your partner away! (or maybe just Simon Says them into staying-- whatever works). A plotting post for this will go up about a week ahead of time to give everyone plenty of time to get partners! (So on July 21st.)
