*currently plotting the demise of ISP*
So, something happened not-so-recently that I thought would be fixed by now but NO it hasn't. Something down at the ISP HQ or something went horribly, horribly awry causing me and my roommates to suffer greatly.
The internet is slow when it comes to logging in, filling out forms, posting, commenting, basically anything in a 'type-in-this-field-hit-submit' style format. I'm testing the waters to see how this post right here works, but commenting is a whole different story.
I feel bad because Maraich-mun made a lovely, shiny new RL and I can't comment to it because apparently I time out or the server is lost somewhere in internet purgatory. I thought stepping away and coming back to it in a few hours would rectify the situation as it's proven to do in the past, but it hasn't. I would love to blame my PC and just hook up my lapterweb, but the three of us living here are all on the same network and are all experiencing the same issues. ;_;
So, I'm leaving this to tell you awesome ducklings that I will try my best, but I may be scarce due to powers beyond my control.
We're currently in negotiations with the ISP to fix it or at least offer a discount. Right now it's either deal with what I have or go without until my lease is up in December. The choice is obvious.
It's currently 2:17 central time as I type this. Let's see if it delays like it's wont to. /o/
