Once upon a time there was a girl who joined an RP as Kaito. She had lots of fun playing Kaito, and after a while started to ship him with a blue haired girl named Karen from Yes! Pretty Cure 5.

Once upon a time there was an OTP poll in which Kaito/Karen appeared more than once. Once upon a time said girl got ideas for a crossover AU Kaito/Karen fic. To make sure her fic was as accurate as possible, she began to watch Karen't canon.

Once upon a time... a Pretty Cure muse was formed.

Plz be welcoming Karen's first canon mate, aspiring actress Urara Kasugano aka Cure Lemonade! She's young and kind and bubbly and impressionable, so be nice. Or not, hehehehe. Hover add lemonsparkle if you will~

Also, Andy, I have a couple questions before I intro her. Where are you in canon with Karen? And might I assume that Urara and the other Pretty Cures have noticed Karen's extended absence due to being thralled by Molly?

IT'S THE DOOR OF COURAGE

The episode where Nozomi stood in for Urara's manager (and Urara got Lemonade Shining) ended the same day that Karen initially left for Zero's world (not long before the mental regression virus). I haven't really alluded to any canon events since then, though I suppose we should probably backdate something about blackmask!Arachnea into the last interval where Karen was herself, since it's weird to have that month-long gap. I kinda want to catch up with my original whatever-episode-aired-a-year-ago schedule at some point, so that when the last few episodes bunch up at the end, there'll be a gap of a month or so with the girls powerless before GoGo! starts.

And yes, the others should definitely have noticed Karen's absence. Mika's probably poking at whatever excuse Rin and Coco cooked up. In fact, with Urara around, I think the proposed rescue really should happen after all. Sorry, Yue.
