Vivi's Belated Plotting Post

First of all, I would like to officially if tentatively say that I think I am finally out of my lyme disease-inspired tagging slump! You guys have all been wonderfully patient with me and my absolute charming, darling bb-sans, so thank you allllll. :<

Now that the obligatory sappiness is out of the way (tsuntsuntsun) I HAVE A FEW ORDERS OF BUSINESS TO TAKE CARE OF. I'm posting it all here to clear the air and make sure everyone that needs to be informed is informed. If anyone has any input, even if you're not strictly involved - or if you want to be involved - I welcome it. B)


Brian
Brian first because he's simplest. Right now he's around or just before Father Knows Best. Once I go through that, I'm going to hop through Seeing Red and the finale really fast, so what does this mean?

I'm planning on having Brian never make that final trip to Dex's apartment to kill Deb. With the other options that the community presents to him, i.e. leaving the world where he's being searched for as a particularly vicious serial killer, he'd make a difference choice. The current plan is that he'll contact Claire, make up some story about being rejected by Deb, and ask to stay with her for a couple days. Once there, he'll kidnap her / hold her hostage and come to find out about her powers, which will result in her getting amputated, um, several times.

DOES ANYONE WANT HIM TO SEND THEM BODY PARTS / HELP RESCUE HER? He doesn't necessarily need to know them and they don't need to be related to either of them for them to get random body parts, trust me. This is all a few weeks in the future, but moar planning = bettar planning.

Additionally, anyone know where he can get a worldhopping device / ability? It'd make things a lot easier, and he'd prefer, if he wasn't relying on anyone else.


Zuko
Zuko has two things coming up! Or, well, two and potentially three. First of all, Peter's coming to (accidentally) visit the Fire Nation this week, where he'll pick up firebending. He'll probably be there for a few days, aka as soon as we get bored and Zou-san moves him on. Feel free to set up posts to interact with him while he's there, I'm sure she'd love to entertain you. B)

Second order of business, I asked for permission on a mini virus for him to do with Suze at some point where he'd be a ghost for a few days. Yes, we're... shameless. Just thought I'd prep you all on that, idk. lol We'll see if it goes through~~

AND FINALLY, THE EXCITING PART. FIRE NATION DANCE PARTY ROUND TWO m-maybe I mean, it'd be huge and a big event so it'd take mod approval and scheduling, and it'd be at least a month away. I'm just putting the feelers out. Originally Aang was going to organize this, but since Francy dropped him (sadfaces in corner) he's going to background NPC push Zuko into it.

Rei
Rei's going through EoE soon. What This Means For You is that she's going to make an ominous final post as Rei III to her journal and then answer back a few days later, mysteriously, as Rei IV, the next clone. I'm still trying to decide how much of her memories she should retain. Strictly canonly speaking, she shouldn't remember anything, but that this is even happening at all is beyond canon and the only way I could work it... Not to mention. It's EoE, so who even the fuck knows. I might just handwave her getting all of her memories back, if no one has anything to gainsay it, because that'd be easiest for me.

When Rei IV tags back, she's going to be in a decimated, destroyed world with two other people on it (Shinji and Asuka, not the one on the comm, obv). Someone'll have to come pick her up. idk where she'll go from there - at the moment there's vague plans for her to join the rest of the Eva cast, but if Asuka pitches a fit that doesn't work out IC, that might change. There's also tentative plans for her to work for Rufus since he's still hiring and she's... an obedient little doll thing with an A.T. Field.

There is one big thing left to be resolved for her, however! Rei is a clone, and her body doesn't really function on its own. It takes constant medical attention from Ritsuko in canon to keep her intact - in EoE, her arm just flat out falls off because she's gone too long. There's some implication that it'd happen eventually anyway, no matter what, but long or short of it Rei IV is going to be on a ticking clock. Any ideas anyone has for how to resolve this would be lovely, whether it's getting a new body / being a shinigami / medical intervention / what have you.

I am totally up for a Fire Nation party! I hope the Mars kids will all attend. I know no matter what happens Lilith will show up to meet him in person finally.

Caterina would go to diplomatic reasons? This Fire Lord is a lot easier to chat with and they would make a useful ally in tracking down whatever remains of the Orden.

As for Claire, Jacob (and probably Bella too) will be all about saving her. How does Brian feel about scary insanely huge wolves appearing out of nowhere?

Jacob makes it a point of only killing vampires so he won't kill him. If Brian even so much as looked at her wrong he would lose an arm though. xD;

Just be the mature adult Peter. Claire>Screwing up Brian to him so using that logic will get him to back off.

LOL GOTCHA. Peter can be fairly testy himself, so they'll both be contemplating arm removal, at the very least i'm guessing.

...Peter is not always the most mature lmao BUT HE'LL TRY HIS VERY BEST. Because yeah, they both know that Claire means more than fucking with Brian.

POPPING IN HERE Brian's going to veer between acting... antagonistically suicidal, completely normal / cocky as shit, and on the verge of a complete mental breakdown (that last one is the truth, lmao). He'll be pretty obviously crazy, but not in a cold calculated way; more in a, "my life is falling apart and I have no reason to live" emotional way, if that affects you any.

I'm not sure Jacob would buy it seeing the damage he did to Claire but, not because he's just that smart. He'll be too furious to even contemplate mental illness is a factor in this.

It's pretty much the factor, but I can't blame him. XD Funnily enough if someone was rational in it they could probably talk Brian into letting her go. He's not especially attached to Claire as a victim, he just needed to use her to regain mental control of any sort.

Sadly this isn't Lilith involved. If it was, she could probably just talk him into letting her go like a sane person. ...And now my Lilith-muse wants to add him to her list of people to save. Sigh.

Anyways Jacob is just all save Claire and hurt Brian if he tries to intervene with this goal in this.

...Lilith, he's a hot mess. It's my personal head canon that he's not irredeemable, but if she knows a way to reform sociopaths (and he is, canonly, diagnosed with anti-social personality disorder, so it's serious business), I'm sure the entire psychological community would call her a saint, too.

More immediately effective involving Brian, anyway. xD He's... yeah, if someone aside from Dexter seems to care about him too much, he'll flip and try to push them away in the most violent means possible.

.... Peter will be so guilty LMAO, but he probably won't be until after the fact. He'll still pissed off, because when he's angry about things he doesn't always act very Peter-ish and flies off his own handle, but I really don't think he'll be overly violent towards Brian and more focused on just getting out of there and saving Claire.

H-He might antagonize him a little on purpose, like I said, but it won't be immediately obvious that it's Brian who has her (I hope). He'll contact her in secret, ask her to keep it a secret, and then start sending body parts once he gets there, if everything goes Just As Planned. I figure it'd be a few days before a response was mobilized based on realizing they were Claire's body parts / haven't heard from Claire / etc. etc.

Since Peter is a little derpy himself, it probably will not be immediately obvious to him that it's Brian. XD So the antagonizing will totally work. You're more than welcome to have a body part sent to Peter because it'll rile him up like nobody's business, and he'll just be so very WTF IS THING OMG, and it'll give him ~nightmares~. But yeah, I agree completely. Once they start realizing she's missing, Peter'll... snap into action. Or something.

Zuko was serious about waiting for them to all be okay - is that going to actually happen, btw, or should I not count on it? XD And I hadn't realized they hadn't actually met IRL yet; you're right! He'll... probably want to awkwardly hug her and have to rely on her to initiate it, lmfao.

He'd be a lot more comfortable talking politics with her than chatting socially with everyone else, sadly enough. lol

Ahhh, hmm. I'd rather Brian not die, but I'm cool with injuries up to (and maybe including, with careful discussion) maiming. He's not a fighter at all. His real strength is planning, but with Dexter's "betrayal" he'll be out of sorts and probably slip up in some way, or just not be able to account for all the variables the community brings in. I'm totally fine with however you guys and Tifa want to plan out her escape - whether it's mostly Claire getting free eventually, they rescue her, both, etc. etc. - but Brian won't really care about consequences for his actions. It's a big sociopath trait... SO, UH, HE WON'T CARE IN THE LEAST WHATEVER'S DONE TO HIM. :|b

I honestly don't know. I will get in touch with the TB cast about this. I really would like to get some family bonding in before canon resumes and everything goes to hell. Lilith will hug him upon meeting him. She considers him a very good friend and clearly good friends should be hugged!

Good then! Caterina will enjoy chatting with him and taking in the sights. Since Iblis arc is coming up hints of her illness will be in the conversation. (Basically she'll cough and blame it on the new environment.)

Oh like I was telling Peter-mun Jacob would not kill him. He only kills vampires. At worst, there will be some maiming if he walks in on Claire getting hurt or he tries to get in the way of rescuing her. Jacob will be furious but, protecting/removing Claire will be his priority.

Hahaha, alright! I won't put it off for TB canon issues, then, I'll see if anyone else has any input and then I'll talk to the mods for scheduling. :) Zuko loves hugs, he just will... never admit that.

He's too respectful of stoic silence and handling it yourself to press her on it, but he'll likely notice and quietly keep it in mind for the future, anyway. Besides, it's a celebratory occasion; they can be formal in the corner unless someone drags Zuko out against his will.

Yeah just run with it! It would make Lilith unspeakably happy if Zuko got to meet her family but, if it doesn't happen she will just silently angst later. Well he'll get one and probably a forehead kiss.

Alright good! She someone keeps it a secret through all of canon against people who are with her everyday so I don't want her to be outed. I'd just be a terrible player if I never mentioned it once. Yay for formal corner~! <3

Haha this makes me want to rewatch the season he is in again. I loved his storyline.

Ohhh, okay, gotcha. He's overly suspicious by nature, but he wouldn't bring it up unless it became really obvious that it was an issue. He's still too terrified of has too much respect for her to go into something so obviously personal unless she brought it up first.

...I keep forgetting everyone knows his canon, I just assume he's obscure because when I picked him up no one had any clue, lmfao. But, you should, it's delicious.

Oh yes definitely. I like to think eventually there will be a resolution to canon even if it was never written. She would be so endeared by it too.

It will be a year in her timeline before it does become painfully obviously but, idk she is just that good a liar? Who knows why they didn't notice. Oh Zuko. She would love that he is intimidated by her.

Oh yes I watched the whole series. I was that one person rooting for him to live.

In my heart of hearts sometimes I fantasize about Azula ~*~coming back to the fold~*~ largely because Zuko does, and then he'd get to be crazy protective and big brotherly of her totally unnecessarily. xD We have such hopeless characters.

It wasn't good for the plot...? WHO KNOWS lol. --Haha, seriously? She makes him feel like he's thirteen in his father's war room again (without the hugely negative associations).

He lived in the books, funnily enough. Dexter was going to kill Deb and go through with it, too, but the police got there in time. The books are a lot more realistic about how a serial killer would be, but I can respect the thematic angle of the TV series in making Dexter inherently redeemable.

You are not alone. Lilith wants Azula, Zuko, Ursa, and Iroh to be a family again. Obviously she should stay with Cuddy and Rachel but, yeah. Lilith has a dream of them being a family.

I think that was it. She needed to be the great Woman of Steel until TB plot goes absolutely nuts. She won't be too hard on him since her leader is her little brother who is terrible at his job. The community will never hear about that from her though. She'll let them assume there is some scarier person dictating her decisions.

I read about that! Dexter the series is great but, I do want to get a hold of the books someday.

Zuko doesn't necessarily want to live with her again lmao siblings will be siblings, but he does very desperately want to be on good terms with her. He's written off his dad but every single person he lets go of will be a big production. He can't help but see Azula as a victim instead of an abuser, like he eventually came to see his father, which makes it even more difficult for him to let go. And of course he has Lilith encouraging him in holding on hahahaha.

Awww, I didn't realize how much depth she has to her though, obviously I probably should've given that she's from TB. They'll probably end up being good allies.

The books are... hmm, somewhat strange. Like I said, they're more realistic and more unflinching, and they do preserve that sense of humor that's in the show, but the show diverges completely once they get to season two and it's not necessarily bad. The show is much snappier, anyway, and has gorgeous cinematography and music, which obviously books can't replicate. |D The books are more crass, I'd put it, though in that appealing way Dexter has.
