GAIZ! Me and Peri had an awesomesauce idea.

You've all (well not all) seen the breakfast club. Bender is pre-cannon.

So what would you think of a mini event? Maybe eight or nine characters get world hopped to Shermer and have to spend the day in detention?

It would of course be preferred if we get the whole shpeil,  Jocks and Princesses and Nerds and Basketcases, but I kind of wanted a few extras there, too?

And, if you have a mean ass character, you could totally be "The Principal", if no one wants to, though, we'll totally NPC him.

All in all not a big event, I just thought it would be awesomesauce to do sometime next week, probably on Bender's journal.

Edit:  Okay, so we were thinking that it'd be like that episode of So Weird, where the school day detention went on and on and on for days, and at first everyone would think they actually went to Shermer, until people started remembering their old lives and crap, and then they realize that in order to get back home, someone had to write that 1000 word essay. Yus No?

Lost my internet connection. So, I've got to call in a hiatus (til about the 13th of august). This will affect Raiden, Vergil, Naked Snake, Laughing Octopus and Kyrie -- I'll go find links for the activity check now, though.

So, something happened not-so-recently that I thought would be fixed by now but NO it hasn't. Something down at the ISP HQ or something went horribly, horribly awry causing me and my roommates to suffer greatly.

The internet is slow when it comes to logging in, filling out forms, posting, commenting, basically anything in a 'type-in-this-field-hit-submit' style format. I'm testing the waters to see how this post right here works, but commenting is a whole different story.

I feel bad because Maraich-mun made a lovely, shiny new RL and I can't comment to it because apparently I time out or the server is lost somewhere in internet purgatory. I thought stepping away and coming back to it in a few hours would rectify the situation as it's proven to do in the past, but it hasn't. I would love to blame my PC and just hook up my lapterweb, but the three of us living here are all on the same network and are all experiencing the same issues. ;_;

So, I'm leaving this to tell you awesome ducklings that I will try my best, but I may be scarce due to powers beyond my control.

We're currently in negotiations with the ISP to fix it or at least offer a discount. Right now it's either deal with what I have or go without until my lease is up in December. The choice is obvious.

It's currently 2:17 central time as I type this. Let's see if it delays like it's wont to. /o/

I'll be going to my mom's hometown this weekend. I have no laptop to take with me. I'm not sure if they have internet over there. It'll be very hot, uncomfortable, full of flies... basically, hell. So don't think I'll be enjoying it.

I'm VERY sorry that I'll be gone right when I should be posting for AC. I have all the posts done, so I'll put them up ASAP ;D;

Comments may be from any time within the months of June or July. There will not be a grace period this week. Any comments where there is a discrepancy over the timestamp (i.e. July 31st vs August 1st) will also not count.


Exemptions

If you are on hiatus you are exempt from activity check. If you'd like to participate, you may, but it is not required. Please do keep in mind however that the maximum hiatus allowed without activity is 3 months. We will be posting a hiatus check shortly.

If your character was approved during the month of July then that character is also exempt from activity check.


Volunteers

WE LOVE YOU ALL SO MUCH. ♥ Same process as before, we just need volunteers to go through and verify that people have linked the necessary amount of comments and reply to the original comment with "activity verified for" and the names of the characters that have been checked. Feel free to ping any of the mods with questions.
