Hey, folks. As some of you might know, I've been contemplating dropping the Joker here for the last few weeks. I really don't want to do this, as I enjoy playing him when I'm in the mindset, and I adore his CR. Unfortunately, Joker is also an extremely hard character to play, and it's difficult to play him when you don't have a plot of some sort for him to participate in.

So, in order to make myself feel a little less crazy, I'm going to put tntandgasoline on hiatus for a month or two to see if I can't come up with something for him. Consider it an IC hiatus, and if anyone tries to contact him on his IC contact, they'll receive a busy signal.

I really don't want to disappoint anyone, and I do enjoy playing the Joker, so this seems like a good compromise.

In other, sadder news, I think I might as well say that Flapjack has run his course and is being dropped. As much as I love playing him, it's simply too hard to keep up his energy when I'm trying to balance so many other characters. Perhaps someday, he'll return, but for right now, I'm sending him back out to the ether. Please use the admin console or hover-remove aaaadventure

HI GUYS, DID YOU MISS ME? I'm back from Canadaland, which also means Devit, Phoenix, and Cyril are back! Yay! /o/ Was there anything posted within the past two weeks that you'd like any of my guys to comment to? Let me know here!

As a note, other than backdating for virus stuff, Devit is out of commission for the time being. THERE IS A LOT OF STUFF I NEED TO BACKDATE/ACCOUNT FOR WITH HIM.

Just as a head's up-- I'm going on vacation from ~Sunday the 1st to ~Monday the 9th, and I have no idea how much, if any, internet access I'll be having at that time, so I'm taking a preemptive hiatus. In case I do disappear off the face of the Earth, my guys are free to be godmoded by relevant characters in general/should anything big pop up. Bella can have Katniss godmod Prim, Rose can assume Azula will help out if something goes down with Cain and Itsuki and Shiro can assume she's still bumming around with Cuddy, etc. IF YOU WANT TO KNOW SOMETHING SPECIFIC just ask, but in general, my characters are free agents.

So, as some of you may have realized, Envy cut a deal with Eris in order to regain his powers. In exchange, he'll have to wear a collar and do her bidding, and we all know that the one thing Eris loves more than anything is sowing the seeds of chaos wherever she goes.

That being said, consider this an opportunity for Envy to mess around with your character. It can be anything from a simple prank to kidnapping a character's loved one and holding them for ransom. As long as he's causing trouble for others, it's fine by Eris!

But first, a few notes on Envy. The Philosopher's Stone that Eris gave him is not quite as powerful as the one he had before, which means he has fewer "extra lives" to expend if he gets injured. And since he's a rather cowardly character to begin with, Envy will try to avoid any unnecessary fighting, if at all possible. He's a big fan of trickery and psychological torture and prefers to just screw around with your head rather than fight you out-right, unless his victim is significantly weaker than himself.

Just remember, Envy's claim to fame is his ability to take the form of any person or creature he's seen at least once, even if it's just from a photograph (though there are some limitations to what he can replicate). Most of his pranks will probably involve disguising himself as someone close to the victim and using that bond to manipulate the person in question.

So, if anyone is interested in future plots involving Envy, reply here! There's no specific timeline to follow because the next major canon move won't be happening until spring.

I've already been kind of unofficially hiatusing here if my severe lack of activity has been any indication, but I'm suffering from major burnout, so I figured it'd probably be better for me to make my unofficial hiatus official for the time being. I'm not quite sure how long it'll last, and I'll probably still be checking DDD's friends list and stuff (and maybe tagging here or there, but prooobably only with Kaito). I'll still be around on Plurk too, so if there's something you really, really think one of my characters should tag, please don't hesitate to ask! I'm not disappearing, just making my break a bit more official.
