New player with a new character!

Hello all! I'm Sam, and I am bringing in Albert de Morcerf from Gankutsuou: The Count of Monte Cristo. So far as I've seen I have no canon mates, but I'm kind of used to that. I'm bringing Albert from fairly early in his canon, but I'll probably have to keep references to his canon events kind of sparse to keep from causing trouble. I was told to come apply here by my good friend, Sage, who I understand has several people here.

I'm looking forward t playing. I'll be happy to make plans and answer questions. I'm often on AIM as HisSecretOrchard.

I'm still doing a little set-up, so he probably won't write up his IC intro until tomorrow.

Haha, that's okay, he's a minor character from an old anime. You'll learn a lot more here, if you like, this place is full of all kinds of fandoms.

I have my own weird tastes, but I have learned from other games I was in. So you're probably right. I went to look at your app. I have heard of Ranma 1/2 but haven't gotten past the first episode. And I have some friends who say I should read the manga instead.

Aww, that was sweet of you. The manga's pretty good, though it's kind of long (32 volumes, but what's that compared to shounen manga?). The anime can be pretty eeeh, especially the dub :|, unfortunately. I'm sure you'll enjoy yourself here, even if you don't know who half the characters are. I've found that's one of the best parts of RP: playing off unfamiliar characters! And familiar ones too, :D.

I'd say not to worry about it, but confidence doesn't always listen to that kind of advise. DDD is a pretty relaxed, up in the air kind of game. You can do just about anything here. Everyone I know is nice! But that might just be me.
