Calling a slowatus for the next few weeks, this weekend I'll be attending Nekocon, so I probably will not be on at all, and from then on I'll have papers to write and presentations to prepare for the end of the semester. This effects the following:

I enjoyed the con very much, I ended up walking away with the entire season of the Irresponsible Captain Tylor (joy!) and some great pictures of Sailor Uranus and Sailor Venus drag queens b^_^d

Pfft. Just the other day there was a post of the male Hetalia cast in Sailor Moon outfits. Sailor Moon: The Only REAL choice for discerning otaku drag kings. The natural first costume choice as well as the classic all must eventually return to.

Nice pickup! Did it come with the OAVs? Have you seen it before? New-to-you or indulging in a classic, you have something to reward yourself with now between fits of finals productivity.

Yeah, I go partially to see the cosplay outfits, I'm more of an observer than an actual cosplayer though my bff has been begging me to go as Utena and Anthy one day. It's an investment so I will have to think about it. Some interesting costumes though and there wasn't enough sailor moon so I was very glad to see it.

Nah, just the television series, which is a little sad because I do like Kojiro's story. I've seen it before, but I never did get around to getting the entire series (minus the ova) like I wanted to, and it was selling at a decent price. I'll probably watch it during Christmas break.

If you haven't ever cosplayed, I recommend it at least once. When I did cons, the entire point for me was cosplay, I could attention whore so hard it would give Klavier a run for his money. But that was a simpler time, when public indecency merely earned you a stern finger wag followed by a wink from security. I'm not welcome at Otakon anymore.

They seem to encourage cosplaying. The dealers room they have a boat load of costumes, wigs and I thought I saw one of those temporary Ouroboros tattoos.
