I also kind of want to throw Rose at him a lot because I think there could be some interesting dynamic there. Kind of like there is with Naoto only Rose has the power to blow shit up, computers included (though probably only in her own world/canon verse) and has dealt with Dave enough that Yosuke's silly nicknames will just bounce off her.

Yep, I meant this Rose. But it's okay. All you really need to know is that she's similar enough to Naoto only even more verbose, using even more purple language and communes with horrorterrors who will eventually send her into grimdark aka they take over her mind entirely. But she gets better xD

Well the anime and the original game are pretty close to together, differing in nitpicky aspects and the protagonist's personality. I haven't read the manga, but to answer your question I took him primarily from the anime.

I'm pulling Chie from pretty early in the game (as I haven't watched most of the anime) and am gradually updating her. She already knows that she's in the past compared to Narukami, so that's not much of an issue.
