HELP WANTED

Hey, guys! The mod team here looking for volunteers for help with player relations! We're looking for two community members who would be willing to work with a mod whenever situations arise, gathering logs and helping the mods field issues with players! If you're interested, please reply to this post along with a means for us to get in touch with you -- AIM is preferable, since that's where the action takes place!

We mostly need help via AIM in the evenings and on weekends, since that's when most player issues arise. Volunteers only, please -- nominations are fantastic, but we need to know who does have the time to do this.


I'd also like to take this time to remind you guys about THIS POST the information permission post. This post is specifically around to help be sure players are not information-modding (e.g. reading someone's thoughts or breaking the 4th wall without another's permission), and I'd like to remind you guys that this is a form of godmoding. So please be sure to check with each other before ICly addressing issues about another player's canon! Obviously, in a community like this it's difficult to keep certain things secret, but please respect other players' wishes. It can be as simple as IMing someone and getting their okay before broadcasting to the community that Clark Kent is, in fact, Superman! Even if your character would do this ICly, it's a courtesy to the other player. ♥


Also, a mini-reminder that I'm on hiatus through Monday, since I know most of you dont stalk the hiatus post! Click is back however. Psi is still having major computer issues and is also on hiatus. Not volunteering - I know people have strong opinions of me and I think it's better that more low-key people handle this sort of thing.

Maybe it's time to appoint some new people as mods, though. This has been going on for a good while and we should have a good set of mods who are all around.

I'm 100% backing the new mods idea. We have a lot of mods who . . . don't do anything, to be entirely frank. Kristel works when she has the time, Norry is constantly doing everything, and Shiro patrols brit-town.

Which leaves us with two mods who . . . serve absolutely no purpose, and could be replaced with any of the wonderful volunteers above who are (mostly) all active and helpful.

Late response is late 'cause I've been moving into/starting classes in college, but volunteering. You have a crapload already, but I want my name out there, 'cause like Fell, I think I'm pretty good about not letting people ruffle me, especially in a "professional" capacity, and I don't mind brining concerns to players as long as the mods can supply me with info about the issues coming up.
