A comm and a question.

Hay gaiz! I've been thinking of picking up either Morgan Rowlands from Cate Tiernan's Sweep series, Acorna from Anne McCaffrey's series of the same name, or, er. Harry Potter. Yes.

Any input would be greatly appreciated, since I'm currently at a loss. *__*;

IN OTHER NEWS, Pari and I made a comm! :3 Pls to be checking it out behind the cut~

The lady Kaiere is the embodiment of her world. It is young, newly formed, and she is responsible for its growth. Selfish as she is, however, she doesn't want to bear that burden alone: and so, she resorts to kidnapping.

You may not want to be here, but you have a job to do, and learning how to cooperate means your survival - yours, and everyone else's.

I was a huuuuuge Anne McCaffrey fan when I was younger, read all the Pern books up to, like, book 25 or something. ._. I think I only read one or two Acorna books, sadly, but yeah, Acorna is love.

Well don't overburden yourself! But both are very squee-inducing...

I've read a couple of Pern, but I find her writing style a tad difficult to slog through at times. It's awesome that she's so factual and knows what she's writing about science-wise, but sometimes it gets... overwhelming. *__*;

...True. Hmmmm. I do kind of love Acorna. <__<

Truthfully I don't even remember much of the books anymore, just that little*me found them amazing and was awed by how much of the worlds she developed. (The knitting patterns in the Dragonlover's Guide to Pern book really made me go 'buh?!') Plus her dragons were the most awesomest dragons evah omg. Too bad she's all anti-fanworks and such. :/ That was a bit disappointing to hear, when I first started exploring fandom.

Acorna is a wonderful girl. ♥
