It's that time again, folks! We all like to know what we can do better so it's time for....

HOW'S MY DRIVING?

This time it's going to be simple: post your characters, get CONCRIT.

That means any time you comment to someone, it should include something with substance. If you want to tell someone you like their character, tell them WHY you like their character-- what are they doing right? Try and include things they could work on, as well, because that's ultimately why we post here. Pleeeease don't turn this into a love meme, we can do that another time. ♥

Also, we encourage you to keep personal conversations to a minimum-- take them to im or to an ooc post of your own.

I don't know her canon (and she's the only one of your characters I've really interacted with a-aha...) but Azula is not only consistently characterized, but fun to poke with sharp sticks interact with as well. I think you're doing a good job with her!

... that counts as substance, right?

And Lisa is friggin' hilarious, just so you know. Especially with her interactions with Ran, Bender and Hancock.

I can't say anything about characterization because I don't know the canon, but Tamaki is hilarious; his interactions with Haruhi are especially great. As for your other characters... I haven't seen all that much of them. Itsuki's fairly creepy, though. XD

I am so, so bad at this whole "substance" thing.

I'm not claiming to stalk all your threads but from what I've seen Asuka seems to like the pridefulness and bitchiness that so defines her in the series. Now, I understand that sort of attitude can seem detrimental to a multifandom RP and making friends and all that, but I think it does need to show up, even if it is toned down.

Pretty much the only one I've seen is Ran (I don't even see Sunao around that much), and he's great. Oddly enough I used to find him kind of annoying, but I guess he subconsciously converted me to his cult or something. o.O Having Lisa tease him about Yoru is funnnn, though. XD

The only one I really see much of is Jack, and while I don't know his canon, he's insanely annoying- which I'm assuming is what you're going for. The things you do with him are pretty funny (I'm thinking of that ninja thing in particular)- but I also like when you play him more seriously (i.e. the whole issue with Cori and the nightmares).

Concrit is always preferable. ♥ Has something Phoenix done confused you? Is Larry too inconsistent? What about the interaction between Phoenix and Larry: not enough? Too much? Does it sound forced? I know Larry isn't as active as Phoenix and people have said they hadn't see much of him before. Does that opinion still stand?

Okay, I'm just going off the first three cases in JFA, so I'm not too informed here. But one of the things that cracked me up about Phoenix is the way he would accidentally imitate the speech pattern of someone he was talking to if that person had a distinctive speech pattern. Maybe I just haven't been paying enough attention, but I don't think I've really seen that around DDD.

I know you said it was for an IC reason, but I feel you kind of dropped that one post with Gisborne way too quickly. It sort of makes me wonder why you even made that post in the first place, if you weren't going to tag everyone.

I know you have work and all and I know that along with the modly stuff in DDD is keeping you real busy too. But I really do want my characters to talk to yours. It's hard when it feels like I came in a little too late to get any comments in.

ICHIGO! Ichigo seems meaner than he usually is in the manga? Even to his enemies he busts out this cocky I'll kick your ass but I won't kill you thing. He totally went asshole on Nnoitra- even when he had NO idea what was going on. Be that as it may I understand it's well...NNOITR but it's a little weird to go around and see Ichigo both go HOSTILE and then completely ignore someone he's supposed to be mad at, you know? I wouldn't make Ichigo hug Nnoitra and give him fluffy bunnies- but if you consider the canon Nnoitra dies and Nel was sort of weirdly sad about it? So I don't think Ichigo would be all HATIN' and he'd probably have come to terms with him by then. I'm rambling- that's my only problem. Lol it's so hard to see Ichigo be mean to someone NOT Keigo or his dad 8D

Yuusuke and Hakkai though? GOOD JOB FRIEND. I've watched YYH since I was like 7 and I love the crap out of it, you're doing a very good job. And Hakkai is witty and fun xD

I think your Gokudera is really..well Gokuderaish. It's a shame we don't have a Takeshi, yet, to bring out more of Gokudera's personality. Other then that I think you're doing a pretty good job recreating everyone's favorite Vongola Storm guardian. <3
