Helloooo DramaDramaDuck! First off, just wanted to say sorry for disappearing like that. Having to study for two midterms that you're having on the same day will do that to you. >.> But they're over and I think I did well, so it's time to return to some serious Interweb business.
Almost forgot - I'm going to tag some of the threads I had going before, but if you'd rather let them die out then there's no pressure to respond or anything.

The main reason I'm making this post is on account of something that was discussed with Tophie before my aforementioned disappearance. It's in regards to the other Avatar-muns - namely, we need to finish off the series. We're only a few episodes away from doing so, and with Mai back on Azula's side...err, well at least not part of the Gaang anymore, things should be able to work out. So, in order to organize everything, we propose that we all get on AIM together sometime and figure things out. In this post, we'd like to ask our fellow Avatar-muns what time and day would be best for you. If there's anything else you want to mention about planning out the finale then feel free to do.

The only thing in regards to TBR is- Azula doesn't trust Mai. :\ I really don't see how something like that would happen, because Azula is expecting a betrayal- and therefore, she would be careful to make plans that Mai wouldn't be able to interfere with, and if she somehow did, she wouldn't lose her cool in the same way.

Actually I think we're past TBR. Toph posted a while back in response to "The Ember Island Players". I...don't really think we arrived at a consensus in regards to how we could possibly play out TBR and it might have just been skipped...I'm so sorry for the confusion...

Ah, okay. Personally, I think we're fine skipping it- post-war, Mai can probably form the same sort of relationship with Zuko/the Gaang that she did on the show (and the same with Ty Lee and the Kyoshi warriors), and then kind of... go from there with how she feels about Azula, I guess. But yeah, obviously that's up to the individual players, and if they'd rather figure out a TBR-esque scenario for one or both of them, we could set that up. I don't know about Mai-mun, but my guess is that Yue would probably rather not create antagonism between Ty Lee and Azula- but I don't know for sure, so.

*nodnod* Yup, that'll work. :D We can discuss this stuff in more detail on AIM, so long as we can get everyone together in one session.

Okay, sounds good... I don't use AIM all that often (MSN FTW!), but if you send me an email with the time (once it's decided), I'll try to be on. :)

Ah, "appear offline"- one of the best features ever invented when you need to talk to one person specifically and don't have time to be bombarded with twenty million different conversations. :D

Well, as of this morning I'm officially off school for a long weekend, so I could probably arrange it anytime tomorrow or Sunday. I'm going to be out most of the day Saturday visiting a Great Dane rescue shelter, but I don't know how long I'll be gone... so if it's set up for Saturday, it's likely that I won't be able to participate unless it's later in the evening (I'm in New Hampshire, so I'm on Eastern Standard Time).

Okay, well, I can do either, so. And just in case I can't come to the chat, I'll ask you here- do you want to set up a Mai&Azula confrontation plot thing so that Mai will either be with Zuko or in jail when the war ends? Or are you fine with just keeping things the way they are now?

Really? At this point in time, Mai has no motivation for wanting to confront Azula. In TBR she did it to save Zuko. Here, she's just sort of sitting around.

Also, just FYI, I don't see any reason why she would require Mai or Ty Lee to fight with her in the "final battle"- on the show she pretty much only brought them on to hunt Zuko, Iroh, and the Gaang, and we don't see them at all during the eclipse invasion... so my guess is that when she has her army to back her, she doesn't "need" them. But still, if you want to have Mai actively fighting with her in the end, I'm fine with that, too. :D

Mai player here! I'll be going out of town until Sunday night, starting tomorrow afternoonish, but I can give you some input here.

Right now, Mai is at something of a crossroads. If it comes down to it, she'll choose Zuko, just like she did in the series. But, for now she's still with Azula (well, as much as Azula will let her be).

We could work out some sort of TBR moment for her, I'm sure, but it would require Zuko.

All righty, so if we decide on a date after Sunday, I'll be sure to run it by you upon your return before finalizing it. :3

Was Zuko dropped or is the mun not around much? I haven't seen any sign of our Zuko for some time now...

The mun seems to be on hiatus, but I got here back in August and I haven't seen hide or hair of them.

I think he (and Ozai; same player) is probably going to be dropped. :\ I stalk another game that the mun is in, and they're pretty active there, so...

As Katara and Ty Lee-mun, I'm up for anything at all. I'd rather not go through the TBR stuff like Iddy said, with Ty Lee. And I'll find something to do with Katara.

So same question to you, I guess- while I'm assuming that she wouldn't expect them to fight with her, I don't see why she'd forbid it either. Do you want Ty Lee to stay out of the fighting, or should I assume that she participated in the finale's battle in some way?

I'm guessing she'd help fight, if she could.

Okay, sounds good. Yeah, like I said, the episodes in the Fire Nation shows that that she probably doesn't force them to, but I also can't see her saying, "lawl, no you can't help".

Yeah...they're more of the special forces, for the hardest jobs. Kinda useless when the army is right there.

So, as Katara-mun, I've got to ask you:

Are we going to have the Azula Vs Zuko/Katara fight?

Hmmm... I doubt it would come about in the same way that it did during the finale (I'm not going to have her "become Crazula" until after she's lost the war, and even then the fact that Ty Lee hasn't "betrayed" her will diminish the craziness a bit, most of the time). I'd be fine with doing a fight between Azula and ~~Zutara~~ Zuko&Katara, but it wouldn't manifest in the same way...
