He's had an amazing three-and-a-half years (and two incarnations!) at DDD, but I just don't have much voice for him anymore. Especially now that the rest of the cast has dropped. Maybe things will change later, but for now I'm letting him go.

So, I'm back from an unofficial hiatus of sorts, and will be trying to pick up my activity levels. RL demands are, however, eating up more of my time than they were in the past, and I have to prioritize some of them above RP right now. Bellatrix, Sirius, and Dave are being dropped as of now; Sirius or Dave might come back one day, depending on how I feel, but for now they're gone to make room in my time and also for characters I might have a stronger voice for.

There was a death in my family last night, and the next several days are going to be focused on attending her wakes and funeral as well as being with my family. So, for anyone who hasn't seen the latest Glee episode: there are going to be one or two Karofsky posts in the future dealing with some very triggery content. Namely, there will be content that deals with homophobic bullying and suicide that could possibly be upsetting/triggering for people on the comm.

I'm going to post warnings on any posts I do, but I'm going to give a heads-up here as well so that people will know what to avoid if they want to. I hate to do this, but it's time for me to drop Pegasus. As much as I loved playing him, he has the least CR of my guys and I've had waning enthusiasm for playing him. Even if I'd kept going with him, once Duelist Kingdom ended, I'd have had nothing to do with him and rather than just waiting to be stuck, I'm going to let him go.

OKAY SO I KNOW I JUST DECLARED SLOWATUS but it seems that all signs indicate that Hurricane Irene is going to be smacking into Long Island sometime tomorrow night/Sunday and that there is a very strong chance that the power will be gone when that happens.

So I will try to do all my tags tomorrow morning, but if I totally vanish, it's because we're getting hurricane-ed.

So, just a heads-up: I'm staying at my grandmother's house tomorrow night and Thursday and poooossibly Friday, so I tend to doubt I'll be getting any tags done while I'm there (unless I can sneak some at work -- shhhhhh). It seriously kills me to write this; I've loved playing Italy (for over nearly two years! holy shit! D:) and I still do, but nine characters is just too much for me right now. I've known I was going to need to drop somebody, especially once Dumbledore came back, and Italy has been one of my weakest character voices for months.

He'll still be available for museboxing and memes, but as far as DDD goes, it's time to let him go.

ETA: Aaaaand I'm just remembering now that Eames was supposed to be in on the whole help-Ariadne-with-evil-Merlin thing, so I'm granting full godmod rights on him to AmyJack and Lylith; you guys can do with him what you please or you can say he wasn't able to help out for whatever reason, either is fine with me.

Okay, so: if you guys haven't noticed yet, Dumbledore is getting closer and closer to his canon death (which should be happening either in the last week of May or the first week of June). The plan right now is similar to what I did with V: Dumbledore will die as he did in canon, and then after a month or so, I'll bring him back -- but rewound as teenage!Dumbledore and play him from that canon point forward.

What I want to know is: who wants the post of Dumbledore's death locked from their characters? Since his death is majorly spoilery to the HP cast who are in earlier spots in time (especially the bb!cast), I am totally okay with having the post locked from them. I just need to know who wants it visible/not visible to their characters.

Am also considering doing a post of the cave scene as well, so if anyone wants that locked from their characters as well, let me know.

Okay, so if you haven't seen via Plurk: I finally have a new power cord for my Mac (after Best Buy sent the wrong one, and then said they would send one and then told me they couldn't, and I finally just went to the Apple Store and they solved it in ten minutes).
