The Epic P3/P4 Shadow Plotting Post!
Hey guys! Remember this little plot we've been talking about since November? Well guess what?
IT GOT APPROVED!
We're still working out just when it's going to happen, but it seems like it's still set for sometime in January. So, for everyone who is participating, please consider this an unofficial sign-up post!
To make things easier, I'd like everyone to provide some basic information regarding their Shadows and Personas. Once the plot begins, we can refer back to this post for ease of access.
Name: Your Persona's name. Shadows are just referred to as Shadow [Insert name here.]
Description: If you want, describe what your Shadow/Persona looks like. Or post a link to a picture.
Arcana: What's your Shadow's/Persona's Arcana?
Inheritance: What kind of skills is it most proficient with? (Physical, Fire, Ice, Electricity, Wind, Light, Darkness, Almighty, Ailment, Recovery, Support).
Elemental Resistance: Shadows/Personas can either be Strong, Weak, Null, Repel, or Drain certain types of damage. List all that apply. It is possible to have a Shadow/Persona that has no Elemental Strengths or Weaknesses, so keep that in mind.
Level: About what level of strength is your Shadow/Persona?
Remember! The more strongly your character tries to suppress their issues, the stronger their Shadow becomes. This is why Yosuke's Shadow was relatively weak compared to Naoto's: his issues weren't so deeply buried compared to hers, so you can use that as a reference.
Now, this next part is specific to the Personas... They'll fall into three roles: Fighter, Scanner, or Healbot.
Fighters are pretty self-explanatory. They'll be on the front lines fighting against Shadows and the like.
Scanners are like Fuuka and Rise. They can actually read various statistics regarding the Shadows (like their Arcana type, elemental resistances and weaknesses, etc.) IT'S REALLY IMPORTANT THAT WE GET AT LEAST THREE OR FOUR MORE OF THOSE GUYS, OR ELSE IT WILL BE REALLY HARD TO SPLIT INTO MULTIPLE FIGHTING PARTIES. Basically, without a Scanner type to keep track of things, it's pretty much impossible to figure out an enemy's weakness. As a note, they don't actually participate in battle, since they have absolutely no offensive skills, but they can support outside of battle, such has restoring a small amount of HP and SP after each battle.
Healbots, also self-explanatory. They specialize in recovery spells and maybe one other type of spell, and are responsible for keeping the party healthy. Yukiko and Teddie fall into that category. Every fighting party will want at least one of those on their team if they hope to survive any extended battle.
So basically, the plan is this: Souji and his team will try to take out the weaker Shadows first and get as many Persona Users on their side before they try and tackle the more powerful Shadows. Eventually, they'll have enough people to split into several Four Man Battle Parties (which need at least One Scanner and One Healbot to be effective). If you like, you can suggest whether you want your character to be fought sooner rather than later, and possibly plan out who you'd like to team up with once your character has gained the power of Persona. The more groups we have, the more Scanners and Healbots we'll need, so don't neglect those roles!

Name: Brigantia – a Romano-Celtic goddess predominantly worshipped in Northern England, ruling over victory, sovereignty, self-control, leadership, protection of your land, and prosperity. (I also checked up on a few sites for this and apparently she was also the inspiration for/same entity as the figure we use for Britannia today, hurr hurr.)
Description: Normal shadow form is a younger version of himself (think medieval times, so he has the appearance of someone in their mid-teens and will be wearing clothes fitting to the time period) who will make you melt with moe. His aggravated form is an empty, impenetrable suit of armor riding an equally empty and impenetrable unicorn-armour-suit thing.
His persona looks kind of like a female knight. :> She’s a woman with long flowing hair and a helmet that looks like the one Britannia is sporting here. (http://www.24carat.co.uk/images/2003britannia2poundoneouncesilverproofrev400.jpg) She’s got a chestplate (but no other armour) and weilds a short sword as well as a bow and a quiver full of arrows.
