Activity check will be going on from today through Friday, April 7th.

Please reply to this post with the following information and links to 20 comments and/or posts for each of your characters:

Comments must be from sometime within the months of February and March. Any comments where there is a discrepancy over the time stamp because of timezones (e.g. March 31st vs April 1st) will not count.


Exemptions

If you are on hiatus, you are exempt from activity check. Your hiatus must be listed here or it is not official. If you have a question over this, please contact a mod. We will often accept an unofficial hiatus announcement from the OOC community, but we will not dig through the comm to find the links for you.

If your character was approved during the month of March, then that character is also exempt from activity check.

We just need volunteers to go through this post to verify that people have linked the necessary amount of comments from the right time period, and reply to the original comment with "activity verified for" and the names of the characters that have been checked. Feel free to ping any of the mods with questions!

Activity Check Process

Here's what happens after Activity Check is over! On the 8th I will go through and gather the information from the check. No new links will be accepted from this point on, but the 8th and 9th will be used to make sure there weren't any errors. On the 10th, I'll post a list of the characters to be purged. Those characters will be available for reserve and application immediately, however, those applications will not be processed until after the 15th. This is so everybody has a fair chance to apply, and so the original player has time to reclaim their character if a mistake was made.

That should be it! If you have any questions or concerns about how activity check works, you can hit any of us up on AIM. Well, now that I've posted activity check and discharged the last of my modly duties, I suppose there's no putting it off anymore.

It's been a wonderful two and a half years, and I thought that if I just hung on for a bit longer I could make it through and keep up with my activity, but I just don't think it's going to happen.

You see, I'm about to finish law school, and then I'll be busy with the bar exams and everything. And really, I think that it's time for me to grow up. I'll be a lawyer soon, after all. It wouldn't be wrong to say that I'm too good for this now and it's time to re-enter the real world.

April fools <33333 You'll never be rid of me!

Because Glee just announced another week of hiatus until the next episode airs, I feel musically deprived (nearly a whole month without Glee, sobs), and I thought that maybe we can have som fun in DDD with a musical plot.

So, why not?  Who doesn't love show tunes? Even Karofsky likes show tunes, deep in side, but he so does. I brought this up on aim and plurk, but It was like, 4 am, and I'm an idiot, and forgot to put the plot post here (Well  job, self).  But  let's go to the point: 

Eris is going to mess with the whole comm again, now that she's the only goddess there she needs to torture you all more.  She's using her powers to turn the people's canons/cast into musicals.

Harry potter cast, now you have no powers magic anymore, you traveled worlds and now you live in the mad Men universe, get ready to play 'How To Succeed In Business Without Really trying'

LOTR cast, put your leather jacked and glitter on because you are going to rock 'GREASE'

Gundam cast, is time for plaid pants, Seven Brides for Seven Brothers is all for you.

Glee cast, we are doing the SOUND OF MUSIC.  No, Britt, I don't care if you are blond and a woman, Kurt is still playing Maria. 

ATLA cast, you get CHICAGO.  Azula would make a wonderful Velma Kelly. Sokka can be Roxie Hart.

And last, but not least,  the DDD banner will change into this one. Cool ain't it?

Heya, DDD, it's coffee, your resident Teddy/Hulkling mun, here with my newly accepted second character!

This is Lu-Shen Mao from the shamefully obscure anime, Zegapain. He's a mech pilot from Shanghai, quiet, reserved, level-headed, and very passionate.

He's also without a physical human body.

To quickly explain, he's essentially a computer program that interacts through a complicated system of hologram technology. He was born human, but his human body died, and he was transferred to his "apparition" form, so he looks like a teenager but is actually pushing 60. What this means for worldhopping is that, unless he gets a portable holographic emitter a la Star Trek: Voyager, or a human body, he won't be able to jump anywhere without the tech to support his hologram form.

Don't let that stop you, though. He's got no real home and lives on a kinda-sorta spaceship. Which gets really boring after a while. So he has no life, and the perfect excuse to derp around on the comm a lot.

Hello everyone! \o/

Sorry if I... come off very awkward in this. I'm very new to the role play community; this is actually my first rp community I've ever been a part of, other than museboxes and the random crackrp a few friends and I get in to.

It's a pleasure to meet all of you! I certainly hope we all get along and that we have lots of fun together.

For now, I will be bringing in Kirino Kousaka from the anime Ore no Imouto ga Konnani Kawaii Wake ga Nai. I know she's kind of an awkward addition to here (since no one else from the series is here!) but I feel that she will be an interesting addition.

As I said in my application, I will be rp'ing her from the first episode, when her character hasn't developed much. Kyousuke isn't here so there isn't anyone that is true to the series that she could build off of so she will be building from the interactions she has here at DDD.

Well, I believe that's about it! If I left something out um... let me know? ffff.
