Hey hey hey guys~ As you may have noticed Jane spread this idea of a community-wide beach party around, Ariadne and her wanted to actually do it, and then I took responsibility for it Aang went and offered to actually throw this thiiing.

YEAH THAT'S RIGHT.
We're going to have a A BEACH PARTY. I'm calling it:
THE DRAMADRAMADUCK: BEACH BASH BONANZA.
or the DDD:BBB for short. See what I did there?

I can see it now-- volleyball, horror stories around a fire, splashing in the water, sandcastles, long walks on the beach, dancing in the town, people getting drunk and starting a bonfire, breaking open a watermelon like they do in animes sometimes, Azula throwing a fit, repeated facepalming, sexy members of the community in swimwear...

You know you want this.

ANYWAY, so it'd be in Avatar World on the ever fantabulous Ember Island, which for those of you not familiar with the series is basically a resort island in the Fire Nation where rich people go to vacation and relax and throw house parties and see really really horrible plays. ( And also to those not familiar with the series I highly recommend you get familiar because it's a great show. /completely biased suggestion )

Yeah so this is totally happening in this lovely month of July (or August if you're all busy in July). What I just need to know is what you guys think a good date for it would be! Let me know when you're all available for roleplaying out this awesome event and suggest a date. And also let me know if it's an awesome enough idea that this could be an overnight thing? Like a weekend or something? ...OR IF THIS IS A HORRIBLE IDEA AND I NEED TO STOP IMMEDIATELY?

Hey, Tay here. Thought I'd mention, I might barely be replying the next few days since there's a convention I may be going to for at least part of the time. Not sure which days though, so I thought I'd mention it. So if I'm slow or delayed in replies, that's why! It'll only be for 2-3 days so I'm not really gonna call a hiatus or anything, just thought I'd mention it.

Lii here, bringing in one of DC's Green Lanterns, Kyle Rayner! He is a complete sweetheart and a pretty kickass hero - who also happens to be a graphic designer/comic artist and a canon anime/manga geek.

So in that vein, I have a 4th-walling permissions form on his journal over here, if you wouldn't mind taking a look at it. I'm going to try and get his IC intro up before I have to go to work, but if not, I'll have it up tonight at the latest.

Oh geeze. Here we go again.

I'm going to take a month long hiatus due to vacation and life issues. My wife/husband needs surgery and I'm doing work in Brazil, although my vacay will be in Mexico.

Anyways, I might log in once in a while to you know, comment to a meme and what not, but yeah full-blown hiatus.

But don't worry, after the month I'll be back posting and what not.
