Hi. I'm writing this to let everyone know I'm dropping from DDD. I've been here a long time and this has probably been a long time coming. I'm definitely going to miss people here.

You can assume Maraich has gone on and is taking care of Matthias and Figaro in his over-obsessive motherly way and all is well. I'll still be playing at GB and Amat.

This isn't unexpected but still sad. You're like a staple of DDD, man.

Thanks for giving me such a warm welcome. I may not have stuck with this if Maraich hadn't gotten Phoenix involved with stuff right off the bat. They were some of my favorite CR, and I still go back to read their threads occasionally, because they make me smile.

Aww, Maraich still misses Phoenix.

A lot of his CR is gone now and I just can't get back into the game like I used to be. I've given it some time and that hasn't really changed, so I've decided to move on to other things.

We haven't interacted much at all since I was a complete newbie here, but I'm really going to miss seeing him around. Even with your lowered activity, Maraich has still been a DDD staple to me, and I've really enjoyed seeing how he's developed (two long-term pregnancy/child plots that were done right and weren't forgotten/abandoned by a player who got bored of them definitely aren't something to sneeze at). As a player, too, you've always been really welcoming and helpful-- if I'm remembering correctly, you were actually the player who I did my first-ever RP plot with (when Azula went to try to fight Maraich and he tried to blow her up fff), and you were really nice and patient with my cluelessness. So, thank you for that!

Oh man, so much old stuff. Going through the character names I still had people on my flist that hadn't even been around in years.

I think Matthias will be a sad part for me. Figaro exists in canon but Matthias not so much, so leaving pretty much makes him non-existent now.

Azula has been around a pretty long time too now.

Well, at least you have the option of not having him forget-- that's one of the things I like best about DDD; alternate universes and branching timelines means that you don't *have* to erase development even after you drop. So I wouldn't think of him as nonexistent at all!

But honestly, I understand. I'm amazed you've been able to play Maraich so long and so well here. I haven't gotten to play with you recently, but I'll always have the great memories of Maraich and Orlando's friendship, and Door and Kurt hanging out. I'll see you around! ♥

While I can't say I wasn't expecting something like this, I've gotta tell you I'll miss Mariach like burning. He was so awesome here. He had a good run, and Kasumi will miss her friend.
