flksjdlfs whoops, I meant to put this up yesterday...
HELP US, DDD. YOU'RE OUR ONLY HOPE.
Tif and I are going to be writing a newbie FAQ to put up on the Wiki. We'll be compiling a lot of the information that's already up there, but I don't think it covers some of the more common questions that get asked. That's where you come in! :Db
Can you think of some questions you've seen asked a lot that you think the FAQ would benefit from having? How about questions that you haven't seen asked? Hell, what about questions you've been afraid to ask (those are probably the best!)?
Any help would be greatly appreciated! ♥

For example, when I first joined the concept of two separate communities for the RP was brand new and confusing to me. Now we have about 4 comms that need watched (IC, OOC, News, Modly).
Maybe there could be super-beginner questions, intermediate questions and advanced questions.

Yeah, I was just thinking of something along the lines of an explanation for people who have never been in an LJ RP before. Because we do get them!
excuse the journal switch :x
My rough outline of it is:
--About the author
--Terminology
--Who to play
--Journals & layouts (character info, LJlogin, contact post, keeping track of threads)
--Icons (resources, keywords)
--Games (applying, activity, friending, OOC/online comms, logs)
--Writing (grammar, spelling, notifs)
--Using code (formatting, sparkles, entities)
--Etiquette (godmoding, concrit, translations, conflict, crediting)
--The end (thanks, questions)
I don't think I've missed anything. XD;

I'll be sure to let DDD know once it's done, though~
