HOW'S THE MOD TEAM DRIVING?
Hey guys, it's recently been brought to our attention that there are some concerns about how the mod team is operating. After talking it over, we decided that we're long overdue for one of these-- an HMD just for the moderators/the mod team as a whole, specifically focusing on how we function both as individuals and as a team. This can include (but is not limited to):

- what we do/who does what
- how we interact with players, and how we come off OOCly and ICly
- why we chose the newest batch of modpoles, and why there are so damn many of them
- efficiency, game mechanics, etc.

Anon is on and IP-logging is off, and questions, suggestions, and complaints are all welcome, as is discussion either with us or with other players. Feel free to address us individually, or as a group. If there's anything that's been concerning you, please do let us know here! ♥

IMPORTANT: Recruiting Modpoles
Hi duckies!

Things have been a bit crazy for your mod team lately, in case you haven't noticed, so we've decided to bring on a couple of modpoles to help pick up the slack. Specifically, we are looking for someone interested in helping Miri with Event and Virus Scheduling and someone to be a backup/helper for Cnd for Applications.

Modpoles get invited to our SUPER SECRET COMMUNITY where we sit around being fed peeled grapes by nubile young men and women discuss issues that come up with the game, as well as basically helping out with whatever needs doing. It's fun and low pressure, but does require a commitment to the game as a whole and generally being around when issues come up.

So if you are interested in this highly prestigious position, please fill out the form below and Private Message it to this account [personal profile] tripled_mods. We will discuss and make some choices. We may just bring on one, or may bring on a couple, it'll probably depend on our feels and how many people apply.

And now... The Handy-Dandy Form:

Check-up on the Taken Characters List
Hi Duckies!

In the wake of this month's Activity Check, it came to the attention of the mod team that some people who had dropped a long time ago might not have been swept off the Taken Characters List, even though they had been removed from the master list we use to keep track of all of the characters on the list. At the same time, I came to suspect there were some characters on the master list who had never been put on the TC list either. These things are bound to happen sooner or later in a game this size, and a few characters had apparently slipped through the cracks.

So I decided to sit down and do a major, thorough, check. As a result of that check, I did indeed find a small list of characters who needed to be removed from the TC list and hadn't been caught in the Activity Check because they weren't on the master list. So here we go:

[ ADMIN CONSOLE | MASTER LIST ]

EXTRA PURGE LIST

PLEASE do us all a favour and take a moment to check that your entries on the Taken Characters List are up to date and complete. Please also note that if you were just removed and didn't expect to be, your character may have been accepted in September and you failed to respond to the latest Activity Check. In that case, you will need to reapply, just as if you had been removed in the main purge list that I posted earlier today.

Please feel free to ask me here if you have any questions, and let me know if I've made a mistake. This was a big job, and it's possible that something's slipped through the cracks despite my best efforts.

Edit: [livejournal.com profile] brainisout, [livejournal.com profile] thirstsforred, and [livejournal.com profile] unlikely_spread were removed in error! Please friend them again if you removed them from your flist already
